In an action to recover damages for personal injuries, the defendant New England Engineering, Inc., appeals from so much of an order of the Supreme Court, Queens County (Durante, J.), dated April 4, 1985, as denied its motion for summary judgment dismissing the complaint, and the plaintiff cross-appeals from so much of the order as granted the motion of the defendant Wean United *625Corp. (hereinafter Wean) for summary judgment dismissing the complaint against it.

Ordered that the order is affirmed, with one bill of costs payable to the plaintiff and Wean.
