The State of Ohio has scheduled the execution of Daniel Wilson for 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 3, 2009. On April 8, 2009, Wilson filed an action under 42 U.S.C. § 1983 in the federal district court for the Southern District of Ohio alleging that Defendants intend to violate his constitutional rights by executing him without providing the necessary safeguards to pre vent the maladministration of the lethal injection protocol.
