Appellant filed his bill in the superior court of Cook county.against appellees, the tax collectors of the towns of North Chicago and South Chicago, and Samuel B. Raymond, county treasurer of Cook county, praying for an injunction against the collection of taxes claimed to be due from appellant on his personal property in said towns for the year 1900. Appellees filed a general demurrer to the bill, and in open court waived all objections and causes of demurrer because of misjoinder of defendants, and submitted the demurrer upon the single question whether the bill stated equitable grounds for…
