This bill is filed to recover $5,000, amount of an insurance policy on a floating bathing establishment, or boat, which is alleged to have been lost in the Mississippi river, opposite the city of Memphis, where it was and had been located for some time before the contract, and where it was when the disaster occurred. It is alleged, in substance, that the loss occurred on 30th of April, 1868, by sinking of the boat, the result of a rise in the river, floating large logs and snags against the boat.
