ANDERSON, Circuit Judge:
Annie Patterson appeals from a district court order affirming the final decision of the Secretary of Health and Human Services denying her application for supplemental security income and disability insurance benefits. 1 Because the AU’s finding that prior to January 1981, Patterson could perform her past work as a janitor is supported by substantial evidence, we affirm the Secretary’s denial of disability benefits for the period from September 1980 to January 1981.
