This action was brought by the administratrix of his estate to recover damages resulting from the death of Alexander L. Murphy on July 23, 1910, caused by the alleged negligence of the defendant. The declaration alleges that plaintiff's intestate *436became a passenger on one of defendant’s trains, having purchased a ticket from Chicago, Ilk, to Bangor, Mich.; that it was the duty of the defendant to keep its depots, with their platforms, along such railroad between Chicago and Bangor in safe condition, and to safely carry said Murphy to his destination.
