The Defendant, William Charles Burgess, was convicted by a Knox County Criminal Court jury of one count of preventing or obstructing an arrest and two counts of obstructing or preventing service of process, Class B misdemeanors. See T.C.A. § 39-16-602 (2014). The trial court sentenced the Defendant -to six months, with all but ten days suspended to supervised probation.
