John Dale Stauffer, you are before the Colorado Supreme Court to receive a public censure for your professional misconduct. You were admitted to the bar of the Supreme Court of Colorado on October 17, 1980, and are subject to the disciplinary jurisdiction of this court in all matters relating to the practice of the law. C.R.C.P. 241.1(b). You were served with a disciplinary complaint and citation, and you then sought and obtained an extension of time to answer the complaint.
