Appeal from a judgment of the County Court of Albany County (Breslin, J.), rendered November 13, 1997, convicting defendant upon his plea of guilty of the crimes of burglary in the first degree and criminal contempt in the first degree.

Defendant pleaded guilty to burglary in the first degree and criminal contempt in the first degree in satisfaction of a 12-count indictment. Pursuant to a plea bargain, he was sentenced to concurrent indeterminate terms of imprisonment of 8 to 16 years and lVs to 4 years, respectively. On appeal, defendant contends that the sentence is harsh and excessive.
