I dissent in this case, because I have concluded that the time has come for this court, in modification cases, to *187stop a case-by-case construction of alimony contracts voluntarily entered into between a husband and a wife prior to their divorce.

I am simply unable to perceive any rational rule established by recent decisions of this court on this subject. See the following cases: Grizzard v.
