This Order addresses Plaintiff Roy Logan's motion for partial summary judgment [9] and Defendant Dallas County's (the "County") motion for summary judgment [16]. Because Logan cannot show that his speech caused his termination, the Court grants the County's motion on Logan's claims for violation of his First Amendment rights or the Texas Whistleblower statute in connection with his termination.
