G. Ernest Bonacker died testate on February 28, 1956, leaving no issue. He was survived by his widow, Emma W. Bonacker, who died April 26, 1956, without applying for a homestead allowance pursuant to Section 474.290 (all statutory references are to the 1955 Probate Code of Missouri in effect at the time of testator’s death.
