The case presents an appeal from the Supreme Court, which affirmed a judgment of the Court of Common Pleas of Essex county, dismissing an appeal of the defendant from the judgment of conviction rendered against him by the recorder’s court of East Orange. The defendant was arrested on August 30th last for driving an automobile upon the streets of East Orange while he was in an intoxicated condition.
