In these consolidated class actions, it is alleged that Tokai Pharmaceuticals, Inc. and several of its officers, directors, and underwriters committed securities fraud in connection with the development of galeterone, an experimental drug. On September 30, 2016, Steven Maxon and Sanjiv Purohit timely filed competing motions, pursuant to the Private Securities Litigation Reform Act of 1995 ("PSLRA"), 15 U.S.C. § 78u-4(a)(3), seeking consolidation, appointment as lead plaintiff for the class, and approval of their respective selections of lead counsel.…
