NIGRO, Justice.
Appellant Roberta Taylor, individually and as executrix of her husband’s estate, initiated a professional malpractice action against several defendants, including Community Dialysis Centers (“CDC”) and Appellees Allen E. Meyer, M.D. and Nephrology Medical Associates, Ltd. (“NMA”). Appellant’s husband, Robert Taylor, was diagnosed with end stage renal disease and came under the care of Dr. Meyer and other nephrologists at NMA.
