Action to enjoin the alleged breach of a covenant not to compete, and for damages for such breach. Consolidated for trial with it was an action by the defendant Meredith against the plaintiff on a promissory note, to which reference will be made later. An injunction pendente lite was issued and the cause was referred to a special referee to take testimony and report to the circuit court his findings, conclusions and recommendations.
