In related adoption proceedings pursuant to Domestic Relations Law article 7, the father appeals from an order of the Family Court, Dutchess County (Amodeo, J.), dated December *7552, 2005, which, without a hearing, granted the petitioners’ motions for summary judgment on the petitions and determining that the father’s consent to the adoption of the subject children was not required.

Ordered that the order is reversed, on the law, without costs or disbursements, the petitioners’ motions for summary judgment on the petitions and determining that the father’s consent to the adoption of the subject…
