Hammons, hereinafter called plaintiff, brought suit as superintendent of banks of the state of Arizona and ex-officio receiver of the Bank of Winslow, against Merchants & Stock Growers Bank, a corporation, hereinafter called defendant, and Gilbert E. Greer, William H. Dagg, Joseph Udall, Julius Wetzler, H. M. Moritz, C. H. Brown, and Dena S. Hulet, as executrix of the estate of John R. Hulet, deceased, hereinafter called the guarantors.
