Appellant Jenkins was convicted of possession of heroin. On appeal Jenkins asserts, that the search which produced the drugs was illegal and the evidence should have been suppressed. We affirm the conviction.
The events leading to Jenkins’ prosecution commenced on the afternoon of October 26, 1974. The evidence favorable to the state discloses that about 2:15 p.m. Officer Vaughn of the East Chicago Police Department, who was off duty and not in uniform, was talking with two men at the Watson Service Station.
