Sheppard v-y, I Comptroller of Public Accounts Austin, Texas Dear Sir: Opinion No. 0-41Q9 Re: The application of the Texas Inheritance Tax Law to a situation where an individual devises by will all the community property belonging to hlm- self and to his surviving wife. The property is all devised to the certain named beneficiaries with the exception of a $2400.00 annuity which is given to his surviving spouse.
