This case involves the validity of a joint and several promissory note made and executed by the defendants, who are husband and wife, to the plaintiff. Defendant IT. Langmaack defaulted and respondent Klara Langmaack alleged in her answer, in substance, that prior to the execution of the note the defendant LI.
