Certain actions pending in the Superior Court of Craven County against Norfolk Southern Railroad Company and James K. Daugherty, instituted by N. F. Dickerson and others, owners of a pack house and a large quantity of tobacco stored therein, destroyed by fire on 3 November, 1920, and by certain insurance companies, which had paid to the owners of said property sums of money due under policies of insurance issued by them, were consolidated for trial.
