This action was brought under the provisions of the Code for the benefit of the widow and children of Henry P. Eckhardt, who it is alleged died from the effect of poisonous gases inhaled by him while engaged in repairing a leak in the floor of an acid chamber at the fertilizer factory of the appellee in Baltimore City. The cause of action set up in the narr. was the failure of the appellee to provide Eckhardt with a reasonably safe and proper place in which to work, and reasonably safe and proper tools with which to work, the exposure of him to unnecessary risk and danger without warning…
