Ingersoll street is a public highway in the village of Albion, running in a northerly and southerly direction and intersected by the Barge canal. About the year 1914 to replace an existing bridge the State constructed a bridge over the canal at Ingersoll street. At about the time of the completion of the bridge, the State also constructed on the west side of said street from East Bank street to the bridge, a distance of about 176.4 feet, a concrete sidewalk 6 feet wide.
