1Opinion of the Court

Fletcher, Chief Justice.

A jury in Fulton County convicted Corey Cordell Simpson of felony murder, aggravated assault, and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony in the shooting death of Charles Patrick. Simpson contends that his statement to police was improperly admitted at trial because he made the statement after being denied the right to counsel. Because we find that the evidence does not support Simpson’s claim that he invoked his right to counsel, and because none of Simpson’s other claims have any merit, we affirm the convictions.
