delivered the opinion of the Court.

THIS is a case wherein Hugh Bell was adjudged to be the father of a bastard child, and for its maintenance ordered by the county court to pay $>17 50 cents per annum, for ten years, and to find security foi the performance of the order. He entered into a recognizance, with James Bellas his security. He failed to pay, and Chapell was appointed by the county court to receive, and authorised to collect it.
