The defendant is before the Court on a seven-count indictment charging violations of 18 U.S.C.A. Section 1952, commonly denominated the antiracketeering *162statute1 which became the law of the land on September 13, 1961.
As applied to the facts of this case, the crimes committed were using the mails in interstate commerce with intent to promote, manage, carry on, or facilitating the promotion, management, or carrying on an unlawful activity namely, the ancient game of dice throwing, more commonly referred to as crap games, and thereafter performing or…
