Plaintiff appealed from a judgment, rendered against him by the district court for the parish of Jefferson in each of the causes named in the title of this application. In each case, he furnished an appeal bond with a surety, who did not reside within the jurisdiction of the court that rendered the judgments, but who confessedly resides in the parish of Orleans.
