for the Court:

¶ 1. After this Court ordered a new trial, Brian Holliman was retried in the Circuit Court of Lowndes County for the murder of his wife. Holliman v. State, 79 So.3d 496 (Miss.2011). The jury found Holliman guilty of first-degree murder, and the trial court sentenced him to life in the custody of the Mississippi Department of Corrections.
