The case of U. S. v. Flint is a suit in equity, the main object of which is to set aside and annul the decree of the district court of the Southern district of California, confirming the claim of Teodocio Yorba to the rancho Lomas de Santiago, situated in the county of Los Angeles, in this state, and to recall and cancel the patent issued thereon by the United States. It is brought by the district attorney for California, and purports to be on behalf of the United States.
