Probable cause to issue a search warrant requires some showing that evidence of criminal activity or a crime will be found in the place to be searched. State v. Perrone, 119 Wn.2d 538, 551, 834 P.2d 611 (1992). Reduced to its essence here, the information the police had was that *226Joshua Edwards was watering plants at Rob Anderson’s home, and that Mr. Edwards was wanted on a recent misdemeanor warrant for escape.
