FINCH, District Judge.
This motion comes before the Court on a summary judgment motion brought by Defendant Bain Hogg International Ltd. (“HIB”) 1 pursuant to Fed.R.Civ.P. 56. HIB’s motion seeks to bar Guardian Insurance Company’s (“Guardian”) complaint which alleges breaches of a reinsurance contract. HIB bases its motion upon a judgment issued by a British High Court of Justice on May 12, 1997, which determined, inter alia, that HIB did not breach any duties owed to Guardian under the same reinsurance contract at issue in this case.
