This is an appeal by Cornelius Farrell from a judgment and sentence to death for rape.
On June 5, 1956, a white woman, hereinafter referred to as Mrs. T., visited Sach’s Tavern in south Baltimore frequented by colored people. She testified that she stayed there for about two hours and consumed seven bottles of beer. She went there to see a girl who owed her husband some money and she thought maybe she could get it back.
