To put this case in its proper perspective, a brief review of testimony in the District Court is necessary.

Officer Heath, a member of the Metropolitan Police Department working as an undercover agent on the narcotics squad, met one John L¡ Turner [indicted as a co-defendant with appellant] at 3:15 A.M. on March 25, 1961.
