ON appeal from the southern district chancery court at Mississippi City; Hon. James M. Smiley, vice-chancellor. This was a bill filed in the superior court of chancery, but afterwards removed to the vice-chancery court at Mississippi City. The object of the bill which was filed by the ancestor of plaintiffs in error, was to enjoin a judgment in ejectment obtained by the defendants in error, (the heirs of J. B. Corquette,) for a certain lot on the Bay of Beloxi.

This was a bill in chancery filed by John Nixon against the appellees, heirs of John B. Careo, deceased, to quiet his title to a parcel of land, and to enjoin the execution of a judgment at law for the possession thereof, which the appellees had obtained against him.
