MEMORANDUM OPINION AND ORDER
MOTLEY, Chief Judge.
Plaintiff, an international financial services firm, brings this diversity action to recover fees from defendant Hamiltonian Industries, Inc. (Hamiltonian), a Mississippi corporation with its principal place of business in Lake Forest, Illinois. The fees are allegedly due under an agreement whereby plaintiff served as Hamiltonian’s financial advisor in connection with the acquisition of a company.
