This case comes before us on a petition for certiorari filed by Karen Jacome, wife of the decedent employee, to review a final decree of the Workers’ Compensation Appellate Commission that denied the petitioner’s claim for death benefits. Mrs. Jacome, as executrix of the estate of the deceased employee Michael Jacome, filed an original petition for benefits with the Workers’ Compensation Commission.
