By a petition filed on January 13, 2000, pursuant to Domes*829tic Relations Law § 72, petitioners Frank E. Smolen and Cynthia Smolen request an order granting them visitation with their grandchild, Brianna Schmidt, age 6, whose parents are Jodine L. Smolen and Donald Schmidt.
