Action for conversion. Tbe complaint alleged that the plaintiffs, on November 14, 1899, were tbe owners and in the possession of seven cows and three heifers of tbe aggregate value of $320, and that tbe defendant then took them away, and converted them to bis own use. Tbe answer was a general denial. At tbe *302close of the evidence the trial court directed a verdict for the defendant, and the plaintiffs appealed from an order denying their motion for a new trial.
