Opinion of Register:

This is a proof of debt by Harriet J. Foy, daughter and administratrix de bonis non of Elizabeth Smith, deceased, of Newbern, N. C., for the sum of two thousand two hundred and seventy dollars, the consideration of which was money deposited with the bank in 1861-62, being the balance to her credit therein since June, 1862, evidenced by the deposit or to the petition thereof in bankruptcy. This claim as proven was formally audited, passed, and allowed by the register and assignee, under their respective hands, after the withdrawal of exception's to the form and sufficiency…
