SHIPMAN, District Judge.

In the year 1872, a new highway, of fifty feet in width, was duty laid out and established in the city of Burlington, by the proper court having jurisdiction over the subject, which highway said court directed should be completed on or before October 15th, 1873. The highway is 1,175 feet in length, extending from College street to Pearl street, and is an extension of a previously existing street, called Union street, so as to form a continuous street with Maiden lane, which last two named streets are also of fifty feet in width.
