William Scott having been convicted in the criminal court of Cook county of the murder of Joseph S. Gi'ossfield and sentenced to imprisonment in the penitentiary for life, has sued out a writ of error to reverse the judgment.
There was no dispute about the circumstances of the murder, the question on the trial being as to the identity of the defendant as the murderer. The facts were testified to by Bert Deutsch, who was the only witness of the murder.
