This action was brought to recover $1,000 under an insurance contract for the death of the plaintiff's husband, who died of apoplexy. The case was submitted to *100the jury, which rendered a verdict for the plaintiff, in the sum of $1,080.
This is a motion for a new trial, upon the minutes under section 999, Code of Civil Procedure.
