Plaintiffs filed the present action against defendants for alleged violations of plaintiff Gloria Meek’s civil rights under the Civil Rights Act, MCL 37.2101 et seq.; MSA 3.548(101) et seq. On April 9, 1987, defendants answered plaintiffs’ complaint, alleging that the complaint was barred by the applicable statute of limitations.
