Cumberland Development, LLC sued Ronald S. Leventhal and Cumberland Creek Properties, Inc. (“CCP”) for damages and equitable relief for the alleged libel and slander of Cumberland Development’s title to certain Cobb County real estate. On January 8, 2003, the parties appeared in the Cobb County Superior Court for a hearing on Cumberland Development’s motion for a temporary restraining order.
