Robert Newell Mills appeals the denial of his motion for new trial after a jury convicted him of two counts of aggravated child molestation, nine counts of child molestation and three counts of enticing *132a child for indecent purposes.1 On appeal, Mills contends (1) that the trial court erred in allowing the State to introduce similar transaction evidence and (2) that his motion for new trial counsel rendered ineffective assistance by failing to argue or present an evidentiary basis at the motion hearing for his claims of ineffective assistance of trial counsel.
