On June 26, 2014, Don Estep, a citizen of Texas, sued the following entities in Illinois state court: 1) AbbVie Inc. & Abbott Laboratories (collectively AbbVie), whose principal place of business is in Illinois; 2) Pharmacia & Upjohn Co., Inc., whose principal place of business is in New York; and 3) Pfizer, Inc., whose principal place of business is also in New York, to recover for injuries that he claims were caused by defendants’ testosterone replacement therapy products.
