The Town of Sheridan is a municipal corporation in Arapahoe county, located in a southwesterly direction from the City of Denver. South Federal Boulevard, running through the town is an extension of Federal Boulevard, a main north and south thoroughfare or street in the City and County of Denver. Prior to February 13, 1953, the Town, through resolution of its Board of Trustees, had caused barricades to be placed across South Federal Boulevard within the town limits.
