EAGER, Judge.

Appellant, whom we shall designate as defendant, was charged in two separate in-formations- filed on June 25, 1965, with the unlawful possession of marijuana (Cannabis sativa) a narcotic, and of amphetamine. In each information he was also charged with four prior felony convictions for each of which he was imprisoned. The prior convictions all involved motor vehicle offenses, with workhouse sentences imposed.
