The matters involved in this litigation are so inextricably confused, and the interests of the parties so interminably intermingled, that it will *39subserve no useful purpose to attempt an exact or detailed statement of all. It will be sufficient to state such facts only as are necessary to disclose the nature of the propositions discussed and relied on by counsel.
